Changes to Information Systems Remote Access from Home or Private Office
External access to mycloud.jh.edu changed on Thursday, June 15. Logging-in now requires a special “one-time” passcode delivered via Google Authenticator, which can be loaded on a smartphone or computer. Only those who connect to mycloud.jh.edu from a location other than the workplace will be affected.
To log-in, follow these steps:
- Go to https://mycloud.jh.edu
- Enter JHED ID, password and passcode from Authenticator
With this new process, you will no longer need VPN to access mycloud.jh.edu. If you have been using VPN to access the network, you likely are already enrolled in Google Authenticator. If you have not previously used VPN, you may need to enroll in Google Authenticator by clicking here. This link will take you to the Johns Hopkins Information Technology website to enroll and find videos and FAQs on the enrollment process.
